The beautifully grained quilted maple body top is finished in a bright blue-green burst and wrapped in white binding for a contoured look.

Roasted maple neck and rosewood fingerboard
The neck is made of heat-treated maple. The heat treatment provides shape stability, resistance to warping, water resistance, and resistance to temperature changes.
After several prototypes and verifications, we concluded that 20.5*22.5 (at1F*12F) was the best neck thickness.
The back of the neck is finished with a satin finish to ensure smooth playing comfort.
The fretboard is made of rosewood, which is known for its tenacious and mild mid-range sound.

Hyperion pickups co-developed with Seymour Duncan
We obtained more than dozens of pickups and measured their frequency response. From these measurements, we determined the specifications and sound image of the pickups that we thought would be best suited for AZ.
The output of this custom pickup was kept low so that the cleanness of the original sound remains even when distorted, and the pickups are designed to track and reproduce picking.
Alnico-5 magnets are used.
