For customers residing in Japan
We are pleased to announce the arrival of a 1982 Artist AR300.
Mahogany back/flame maple top, 3-piece maple neck and ebony fingerboard.
Two "SUPER 58" pickups, which are still used on hollowbody models today, are installed, and the Tri Sound switch equipped on each pickup boasts a wide variety of sound variations.
The sound of the mahogany body is thick, but has a bright, edgy character with good grain.
The use of many original parts such as Smooth Tuner II on the pegs, Gibraltar II on the bridge, and Quick Change II on the tailpiece shows the enthusiasm of the manufacturer.
Gold hardware, multiple bindings, and gorgeous inlay work on the head and fretboard give this model an uncompromising look.

As is typical for this model of this age, the binding on the head and body is cracked due to deterioration, and some of it is peeling.
There are many scratches and dents scattered throughout the instrument, and the metal parts are dull and the plating is peeling.
Although it has a strong sense of use, each part has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is good.
The original hard case is missing.
