The 2016 CE24 Japan Limited Edition model is now in stock!
The main differences from the regular CE are the use of alder for the body back and the satin finish. Although less impactful than the gloss finish, the presence of the two-piece flame maple top is still present! The rosewood fingerboard with bird inlay and maple neck are bolt-on jointed. Although it is a bolt-on model, it is installed with PRS's high precision, and the sustain and string vibration are transmitted to the body with no less sustain than a set neck model. The maple neck is finished with a nitro satin finish for smooth fingering, and the Pattern Thin neck shape is easy to play at high frets, and the heel cut at the joint makes this model truly excellent in playability. The tremolo bridge and locking pegs are made of stainless steel. The tremolo bridge and locking pegs are made of special parts developed by PRS. The tremolo bridge block is made of STELLBLOCK, and the string posts of the pegs are made of the same material as on the higher models, which shows the ingenuity used to pursue string vibration and sound. Two modern type 85/15 pickups are mounted on the pickups, which provide a wide-range humbucker sound from low to high, and a crisp single-coil sound when the tone knob is pulled, making it possible to respond to any situation. The tone pot has been replaced with a Bourms Push-Pull A500k metric, and the wiring in that area has been improved and upgraded.

It has been cleaned and maintained at our repair center and is in good playing condition. The top of the body is now shiny. The overall condition of the guitar is good enough to be recommended for those who are looking for a new one, as the scratches are not noticeable, partly due to the satin finish. Compared to the normal gloss finish and mahogany body back models, you can feel the body's resonance and enjoy a better sound. The CE24 model is more cost-effective than the regular CE24 model, but is also easier to handle. Please pick one up and give it a try!
