Fender Custom Shop has just received a 1959 Telecaster from their Vintage Custom Series.

The Custom Shop is the pinnacle of the many Fender lineups. The Vintage Custom series is a relatively new series that started in 2018, and pays homage to the original Fenders, with many specs that were adopted when they were first released but were soon changed, and many rare specs that can only be found in the prototype stage, while still carrying on the tradition. This series is a new innovation of Fender Custom Shop, which manufactures models with excellent functionality while inheriting the tradition.

The newest model in the series is based on the 1959 Telecaster.
The 1959 Telecaster Custom featured an elegant double-bound body and an attractive rosewood fingerboard, both firsts for the Telecaster series.

The Vintage Custom 1959 Telecaster Custom has the same sleek looks as the original and boasts some rare and fascinating features from the Telecaster's formative years that will appeal to modern players who love vintage tones.

Pickups include hand-wound '58 Tele single-coil pickups and Fat '50s wiring.
It produces a wide-open Telecaster tone that can be easily adapted to any playing situation.
The fretboard is 7.25" (184mm)-9.5" (241mm) with a vintage compound radius shape.
Also of note are the medium vintage frets, which are slightly larger than vintage sizes and very comfortable to play.

There are some minor fret wear and dents, but there is no sound clogging or chattering.
The guitar has been checked and adjusted by a professional repair person after arrival, and is in good playing condition.

A certificate, spec sheet, and bridge cover are included.
