Originally released as the top-of-the-line model in 1962, this model was originally developed for surf music players, but its bright tone has been used by players in a wide range of genres, from pop to rock, with a focus on alternative/grunge styles.
The 22-fret short-scale neck has a unique control system, and the floating tremolo contributes to its distinctive sound.
The saddle has been made for a more stable mustang, making it easier to use.

The guitar has been tuned by a professional tuner and has no playability issues.
